Meegan is a sustainability advisor who provides strategy and solutions for events and organisations. She is a recognised global leader in sustainability for the sector, and is author of Sustainable Event Management: A Practical Guide. She was engaged to work with Qatar Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy in developing the Sustainability Strategy for Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup. She was a sector expert in the global working groups developing the GRI Event Organizers Sector Supplement and ISO 20121. She was project consultant for the UNEP Music & Environment Initiative. She is chair of the Sustainable Event Alliance www.sustainable-event-alliance.org.
Dave is an Auckland-based Sustainability Consultant. A creative thinker and problem solver, committed to enable positive, lasting change for the events, businesses and communities he engages with. Dave comes to GreenShoot Pacific with 20 year's experience in the New Zealand film production industry, his work as a Production Designer/Art Director has spanned Feature Films, Television, Advertising and Stills Photography. Combining his production expertise with his knowledge of sustainable practice Dave worked with Splore New Zealand's leading multi-day music and arts festival to set a new benchmark for event sustainability in New Zealand. Dave holds a Graduate Diploma in Sustainable Practice from Otago Polytechnic and is an associate of The Natural Step. Dave's consulting experience includes energy efficiency, sustainability for the built environment, zero waste events, sustainability training for business and developing sustainable communities.
Cameron Little has almost two decades experience within the environment sector and has been providing sustainability support for the events industry for the last ten years. In addition to a BSc in Environmental Biology he has trained in Permaculture, Environmental Auditing, Occupational Health & Safety, and Workplace Training and Assessment. Cameron has extensive experience as a professional development trainer in these fields and is a trained auditor for ISO 14001, 9001, 20121. Cameron delivers professional development and community awareness workshops for GSP.
David is a sustainability professional who has provided technical and advisory services to government, corporate, business and industrial clients for over fifteen years. His expertise includes development and implementation of policies, strategies, roadmaps, and monitoring programs designed to improve business performance and efficiency. David provides sustainability, resource efficiency and auditing services and actively supports social and environmental causes. He holds M.Sc and Post Graduate qualifications in earth sciences and resource management and is a Certified Environmental Practitioner (CenvP) and registered Environmental, EMS, Compliance and Wind Energy auditor (RABQSA).
Cass has spent over twenty years experience as corporate advisor, investor and analyst, mostly focusing on the communications, media and entertainment industries. Currently running her own corporate advisory and investment firm, she has been a Director with Carnegie, Wylie & Company (now Lazard Australia); Executive Director with Goldman Sachs Australia Limited; Director of Turnbull & Partners Limited and equities research analyst with Bain & Company (now Deutsche Bank). Cass is an investor and non-executive director in Goalpost Pictures Australia and has been involved with Goalpost for over 12 years. She is also a non-executive director of NSW Statutory Authority Lifetime Care & Support Authority, ASX–listed Keybridge Capital, McGrath Limited and The Matilda Rose Early Intervention Centre. Cass has a Bachelor of Business Studies from UTS Sydney and is a graduate of the AICD’s Company Directors Course.
